Wagon - Holyhead Breakwater Skip

In conjunction with the building of a route representing the Holyhead Breakwater railway with valliant2995, I undertook to build all of the rolling stock that was used on the line. This extremely unusual wagon remained in use up until the mid 1970s. The wagon was of basic wooden frame construction topped with an awkward metal skip perched on a timber runner. The runner had the effect of angling the skip to prevent discharge of the stone load. The asset includes custom stone loads. These wagons were hauled by steam Peckett locos, then a diesel Fowler 0- 4-0 and latterly class 01 shunters. I've built the diesel locos for the line but the steam locos are not available for an earlier session.
